Head Start Currently Accepting Applications for UPK in Saratoga County

Head Start at LifeWorks Community Action is accepting applications for children from income-eligible families in the Saratoga and Ballston Spa school districts to attend universal pre-k in the fall.

Head Start is a free program for income-eligible families. 

Head Start’s UPK classrooms are NYS-licensed daycare centers and led by NYS-certified teachers. Students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. In addition, all children receive medical, dental and developmental screenings. Disability services are available.

Head Start is also committed to helping parents and other caregivers achieve the goals that you have set for yourself, your child and your family. In fact, 96 percent of enrolled families achieved a goal with support from their family advocate, health advocate and the rest of the Head Start team. 

Working with LifeWorks' Head Start program also connects you to an entire network of additional resources and services available at LifeWorks and within the community.
