In Bloom Brunch is more than just a gathering—it’s a chance to uplift women, children, and families in Saratoga County and the Northern Capital Region through the essential services provided by LifeWorks Community Action.

The Need is Urgent—Your Support is Critical

Every year, LifeWorks serves 5,215+ women, 11,359+ children, and 4,597+ families across our programs, offering vital assistance in nutrition, housing, early childhood education, economic empowerment, and immigrant support.

Over 2,000 families with children under 5 rely on LifeWorks during these critical years of development. Women—especially mothers—are most often the ones seeking services to support their families.

Your Impact Through LifeWorks’ Programs:

• Food & Nutrition: Our Food Pantry provided essential groceries to 2,041 women, 1,188 children, and 1,413 families last year. Through WIC, we supported 2,172 pregnant & nursing mothers and 6,733 young children with healthy food and breastfeeding counseling.

• Family Stability & Economic Support: Our VITA Tax Assistance Program helped 195 women, 65 children, and 228 families maximize refunds and ease financial burdens. Through Mobility Mentoring, 250 women received coaching and achieved goals for themselves and their families in areas like education, health and wellness, and employment.

• Early Childhood Education: Our Head Start Program gave 285 children from 234 families a strong foundation for success in school and life.

• Safety & Stability: Our Weatherization Program keeps 165+ families warm, cutting energy costs while improving home safety.

• Support for Immigrant Families: We provided guidance and resources to 320 women, 300 children, and 300 families, helping them build stable lives in our community.
